Reports had previously surfaced that Litton Das’s house was vandalized during recent violence in Bangladesh. However, later he took to Facebook to dismiss these claims, stating that no such incident had taken place. Condemning the violence, Das urged people to unite and work towards the progress of Bangladesh rather than engaging in destructive activities. He also praised the people of Dinajpur for their efforts in protecting one another.
Similarly, South African cricketer Keshav Maharaj, who has Indian roots, extended Maha Shivaratri greetings through his Instagram story. Keshav Maharaj also reacted to Litton Das' post with folded hands emojis.
