Barclays has hired a Morgan Stanley veteran to lead its equities business following the departure of its co-heads in February.
Scott McDavid is set to join Barclays as global head of equities in September, according to a memo seen by Financial News. He joins from Morgan Stanley, where he was co-head of its stock trading business in the Americas and will report to the UK lender's co-head of markets Adeel Khan.
