Djokovic, 37, aims to avenge his recent Wimbledon loss to Alcaraz and secure his first Olympic gold, having previously won bronze in Beijing 2008.
Meanwhile, Alcaraz, 21, is having a stellar year, winning the French Open and Wimbledon.
The match will take place at Philippe Chatrier, starting after the women's doubles bronze match at 3.30 PM (IST).

In his four previous Olympic appearances, Djokovic experienced considerable disappointment, having lost three singles semi-finals to Rafa Nadal, Andy Murray, and Alexander Zverev.
This past week, Alcaraz has carried a significant load, reaching the singles final and partnering with his idol Nadal in a moving doubles campaign that concluded in the quarter-finals.

If he wins and becomes the youngest Olympic singles champion, he would join Steffi Graf and Nadal as the only players to have won the French Open, Wimbledon, and Olympic gold in the same year.
