Naina, who had been looking for an apartment in the city, was turned down by a potential landlord after visiting a flat she liked. In an attempt to highlight her strengths as a flatmate, Naina created a PowerPoint presentation to showcase her best qualities.
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Naina explained how she found a «really pretty house» while apartment hunting. Everything seemed fine until she was rejected for being too young. «So I’ve created a PPT to tell you all, anyone looking for a flatmate, that I am probably the best flatmate you could find,» she shared in the video. Her presentation highlighted her no-smoking, no-drinking lifestyle and her preference for minimal interference in others' lives.
However, Naina’s video soon became a target for online trolling. Users on X mocked her age and questioned her apartment-hunting approach. One user remarked, «Aaj kal bacche college nahi jate kya? Seedha Kam pakad rahe hai and that too in Bangalore?» (Are kids not going to college these days? Do they start working straight out of school, that too in Bangalore?).
