Best-mid sized workplaces include startups and older companies in LinkedIn survey
mid-sized companies employ a large chunk of the workforce and some of them proactively create a good working environment for their teams.
A list released by LinkedIn recently on top workplaces to grow careers in India addresses this issue by naming 15 best mid-sized companies. This would help professionals who prefer to work in smaller organisations because of their inherent advantages.
The list was drawn up based on the activity of millions of people on LinkedIn. It also took into account eight pillars that advance career progression — in-demand skills, ability to advance; skills growth; company stability; external opportunity; company affinity; gender diversity; educational background and employee presence in the country. It also looked at the in-demand skills, top locations and highest job opportunities at these companies, to help job seekers find their next opportunity.
The top midsize companies’ list (250-500 employees in India) includes a mix of older companies and new-age startups.
