Rajinikanth fans at Freshworks are having the time of their lives. The Chennai-based global software company reportedly booked no less than 2,200 tickets of the Rajinikanth film ‘Jailer’ for its employees! Freshworks CEO Girish Mathrubootham took to Twitter to share the news. “2,200 tickets, 7 screens, Freshworks employees only,” tweeted the entrepreneur. The post went viral, amassing more than 434K views and 8289 likes. Many Twitter users gushed at the generous gesture. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala wrote, “#Freshworks — Best place for #Thalaivar fans to work..” A former staff of the organisation, was all praises for the software company. “As a former employee of Freshworks, it's not hard to see why the company was so beloved. One memory that stands out is the company's love for Rajini movies — entire theatre screens were booked for employees to watch together! Nostalgic for those days and grateful for the memories,” they wrote. Some however, were less than impressed with the gesture and indicated that such initiatives can have a negative impact on the work culture. “Do all this, spoil the work ethics and then cry when losses mount up. fire the same guys to salvage the company. About ‘Jailer’Helmed by Tamil director Nelson, ‘Jailer’ is a black comedy action film. The movie marks the return of Rajinikanth to the silver screen after two years. The movie boasts of a spectacular cast consisting of Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamanaah Bhatia, Vasanth Ravi, and Ramya Krishnan. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal also makes a special appearance.
