Christmas morning, Beyoncé's childhood residence in Houston encountered a fire, yet the occupants managed to exit without harm.
According to Houston Fire Department reports, the fire was reported around 2 a.m. The responders reached the two-story brick house within a few minutes, containing the blaze in approximately 10 minutes, as confirmed by District Chief Justin Barnes to the Houston Chronicle.
Thankfully, the family living in the house, comprising a couple and their two young children, evacuated before the firefighters arrived, ensuring their safety.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The historic house, situated on Rosedale St. and constructed in 1946, holds sentimental value as the property purchased by the Knowles family in 1982, shortly after Beyoncé's birth. The iconic artist lived there until the age of about 5.
Interestingly, Beyoncé was recently observed capturing images of the property during her visit to her hometown for the Renaissance World Tour in September. As of now, there has been no statement from Beyoncé regarding this incident.
