Bhajan Lal Sharma, the chief minister-designate of India's western state of Rajasthan will take oath in Jaipur on Friday. Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa, who were chosen named as deputy chief ministers in the recently held BJP legislature party meeting, will also take oath.
The chief minister and his deputies will be administered the oath of office by Governor Kalraj Mishra.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President J P Nadda, several union ministers and chief ministers from different states will be at the ceremony in front of the famous Albert Hall at 12 pm.
Massive security measures and seating plans have been organised at the location because a large crowd is expected to come and watch the ceremony.
A party spokesperson told PTI invitations have been sent to central leaders and state chief ministers for the ceremony.
Posters and banners showcasing a myriad of central government welfare schemes, alongside cutouts of leaders, adorn all major roads directing toward the venue.
