Bharat Forge shares decline 1.12% as Sensex slides

Bharat Forge Ltd. traded at Rs 1234.0 on BSE at 12:22PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 1.12 per cent from previous close.
The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 753.1 and a high of Rs 1330.0.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.
A total of 10,195 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:22PM (IST).
The stock of Bharat Forge Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 58105.46 crore.
The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 63.26, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 5.35. Return on equity (ROE) was at 7.87 per cent, according to exchange data.
In the BSE500 pack, 92 stocks traded in the green, while 409 stocks were in the red.
Promotor Holding Promoters held 45.25 per cent in the Bharat Forge Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2024 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 16.47 per cent and 27.91 per cent, respectively.
