During the grand finale, a new season of the Big Brother show was also revealed. The host of the show Julie Chen Moonves said that the new Brother spin-off show would air in December.

This season’s ‘Big Brother’ made a lot of history. Jag Bains, one of the contestants of the show, became the first ever Sikh-Punjabi, to take away the crown. Moreover, a Big Brother record was also broken by Jag Bains.
Throughout the show, Jag Bains dominated every competition he participated in. He secured three Head of Household wins and seven Power of Veto competition wins. With these wins, Jag Bains created a record in the Big Brother show for most Power of Veto wins in one season.
The title of maximum Power of Veto wins was held by the Big Brother legend Janelle Pierzina, who held this title with five Veto wins during season 7 of the show.
In the last season, that is Season 24, Michael Bruner held it with six wins. But this win did not last long as Jag in the next season broke the record and created history.
Both Jag and Matt dominated the show during the last few weeks thus fixing their spots.
Jag and Matt during the show also became very close friends and created the «Minutemen» alliance. The duo during the show also included into their team, Bowie Jane Ball and formed the «Mafia» alliance, to secure top spot each week.
