Bitcoin and Ethereum Reverse Gains, DOGE Outperforms
Bitcoin price struggled to stay above the USD 47,000 pivot level. BTC started a fresh decline and traded below the USD 46,000 support. It is currently (04:07 UTC) down over 3% and is trading near USD 45,200.
Besides, most major altcoins are also showing bearish signs. ETH is down over 5% and there was a move below the USD 3,350 support. XRP could gain bearish momentum if it breaks the USD 0.80 support. ADA is also down 6% and there was a move below USD 1.15.
Total market capitalization
After struggling to clear the USD 47,200 level, bitcoin price started a fresh decline. BTC declined below the USD 46,000 support level and even tested the USD 45,000 support level. The next major support is near USD 44,450, below which the price might extend its slide. In this case, the bears might test the USD 43,200 support.
On the upside, an initial resistance is near the USD 45,500 level. The next key resistance is near the USD 46,200 level, above which the price could start a steady increase.
Ethereum price topped near the USD 3,550 level and declined over 5%, breaking the USD 3,350 support. The price even tested USD 3,275. It is now consolidating above USD 3,300. If there is a fresh decline, the price may perhaps test USD 3,250. The next major support is near the USD 3,200 level.
On the upside, the price might struggle near USD 3,380. The next key resistance might be near the USD 3,420 level, above which the price may perhaps rise to USD 3,500.
Cardano (ADA) declined sharply after there was a close below the USD 1.18 support. It is now down 6% and there was a move below USD 1.15. The next key support awaits near the USD 1.12 level.
