Congress MP Randeep Surjewala accused the BJP-led Haryana government of cheating the people of the state ahead of assembly polls in the state in October.
Congress MP Randeep Surjewala said «The 10-year tenure of atrocities of the Bharatiya Janata Party has come to an end. In the last 10 years, there is no class left that has not been cheated by the BJP.»
«The people of Haryana are going to initiate the end of the Bharatiya Janata Party on October 1», the Congress leader said.
The Assembly elections for Haryana will be held in a single phase on October 1 and the polling in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir will be held in three phases from September 18 to October 1. The counting of votes will take place on October 4.
Earlier, on Friday, following the announcement of the Haryana Assembly election, former Haryana Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar asserted that the BJP will form the government for the third time in the state as the public has lost faith in Congress.
«I welcome the announcement and our workers were already preparing to contest the elections. And of course, just like the government has been formed at the Centre under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, in the same way, the BJP will form the government for the third time in Haryana. The public has lost faith in Congress and the people of Haryana will not trust them,» Khattar told reporters.
He further said that the Bharatiya Janata Party would register its victory for the third time in Haryana.«BJP will register its victory
