BJP plans to organise several programmes to reach out to Buddhists and leaders of other parties. It is also planning to hold an extended national council in New Delhi, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially sound the bugle for the Lok Sabha polls and set the tone for the party's campaign.
BJP's minority morcha is planning outreach programmes among the Muslims, like the 'Modi Mitra', in more than 250 Lok Sabha constituencies, sources have said.
BJP brass has started giving shape to its 'Team 2024' for the next Lok Sabha polls comprising several Union ministers and party office-bearers. An eight-member team would be assigned with key responsibilities and coordinate directly with the brass.
Union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Bhupender Yadav, Ashwini Vaishnaw and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma are part of the team.
BJP general secretary (organisation) BL Santhosh, general secretaries Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal and Tarun Chugh would be part of this team. BJP's vision document-related work will be handled by Radha Mohan Agarwal while Dushyant Gautam will take care of the party's Buddhist outreach.
