According to this company, LUMA Energy, work is already underway to restore service with the San Juan and Palo Seco plants, which had been affected by this massive power grid failure.

The total blackout of Puerto Rico first hit on Tuesday at 5.30 am in the morning, and the restoration of the services are expected to take more than 24 hours, says a CNN report. If due arrangements are not done swiftly, this outage can stretch for 48 hours too. This kind of outage is the latest in Puerto Rico, causing such a widespread chaos.
