Ahn Bo-hyun have parted ways just two months after confirming their romance. The ‘Flower’ hitmaker’s agency YG Entertainment confirmed the news.
As per the official statement issued by YG, the two stars were caught up in hectic schedules and drifted apart consequently.
Earlier, an anonymous source, close to Bo-hyun broke the news to JTBC Entertainment News. “Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun’s relationship naturally became distant due to their busy schedules, and they recently broke up,” they told the entertainment portal.
Later, YG Entertainment followed suit and confirmed the news.
Blinks (Blackpink fans) mourned the relationship. “No way!” wrote a fan.
While some fans of the actor got offensive, claiming that he “deserved better”, stans of the K-pop diva rushed to her defense. “People date to discover and learn more about each other. She was transparent about who she was dating and now they aren’t compatible so they aren’t dating anymore. Simple as that. Better to cut it short rather than letting it play out indefinitely if something isn’t working,” tweeted a fan.
“Idol relationships don’t last long so this isn’t surprising,” pointed out another fan.
Earlier, in August, YG Entertainment, which is known to be tight-lipped about the private lives of their artistes, confirmed the news of Jisoo’s romance with the ‘Itaewon Class’ star. “Jisoo and Ahn] are in a stage where they are getting to know each other slowly with good feelings. We would appreciate if you could watch the couple with a warm gaze,” told the agency to the media.
