BMW iX1 electric SUV via its official social media platforms. The iX1 is set to become the brand's most budget-friendly electric SUV and is scheduled to hit the Indian market in the coming weeks.
Derived from the third-generation X1 SUV, the BMW iX1 shares a striking resemblance to its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart, the X1, with only minor differentiations in its design.
The electric vehicle boasts a closed-off front fascia featuring BMW's signature kidney grille, revamped LED headlamps, and a modified lower bumper adorned with chrome accents on both ends.
The overall silhouette and side profile of the iX1 remain consistent with the X1, but it comes equipped with aerodynamically designed multi-spoke alloy wheels fitted with electric vehicle-specific tires. At the rear, the iX1 showcases a redesigned tailgate and distinctive L-shaped taillights with chrome detailing.
Additionally, the EV incorporates an integrated spoiler and skid plates for enhanced aesthetics.
Inside the cabin, the iX1 maintains the same dashboard layout as the conventional X1, albeit with varying upholstery choices. Noteworthy features include dual 10.7-inch screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, connected car technology, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, among other amenities.
