Boat likely to go public next year: cofounder Aman Gupta

Aman Gupta said at the ET Soonicorns Summit in Bengaluru.

“We are working at making some things better, working a little harder at our company. But if all goes well, the IPO will likely come next year,” Gupta said.

He also said the company is set to debut in the international markets next month with a launch in UAE.

Talking about product-driven success, Gupta said execution is more important than the idea.
“Often one product becomes a blockbuster and then the brand succeeds. One product-wonders can also become brands. Sometimes, even when there is no idea, it is all about execution. Some people execute better.”
