Brazen robbery attempt fails as customers and staff ignore would-be thief at Georgia nail salon
Georgia nail salon witnessed an extraordinary and hilarious incident earlier this week after a man attempted to rob the place. The salon on Piedmont Road saw an unsuccessful heist after customers and staff at the establishment both ignored the man attempting to rob the store. A $2000 reward has been announced for any information that leads to the arrest of the perpetrator of the failed heist.
On the day of the attempted crime, the suspect entered «Nail First» salon and demanded money, animatedly. However, to his astonishment, both the customers and staff remained entirely unresponsive, causing him to leave the establishment empty-handed. A video capturing the incident quickly went viral, displaying the moment the perpetrator entered the salon, commanding everyone to «get down!» The lack of a response from neither patrons nor staff left the man bewildered and frustrated.
Reports say that the thief-to-be was dressed in blue jeans, a blue hat, and sunglasses when he entered the salon. Following his failed attempt to commit a crime, he fled the scene in a silver sedan, witnesses said. Carrying a concealed gun in a crossbody bag, he demanded money from the people in the salon.
He first approched three women seated near the entrance, with all of them giving him the cold shoulder. In a final desperate effort, the perpetrator attempted to intimidate a male employee by loudly demanding, «Where is the money!?» However, the employee remained unfazed, engrossed in his phone conversation and indicating that he was occupied. In an unexpected display of composure, one of the women calmly rose from her seat and exited the salon as if her business had been completed, informing the masked robber that she possessed no money.
