BSE, Adani Energy among 6 stocks may get included in MSCI India Standard Index
BSE) and Adani Energy among 6 stocks are likely to be included in the MSCI India Standard Index as part of its rebalancing, according to a report by domestic brokerage firm JM Financial.
Based on the prevailing prices, JM Financial expects BSE, Voltas, Adani Energy Solutions, Alkem Laboratories, Oberoi Realty and Kalyan Jewellers to be included in the index.
The MSCI India Standard Index rebalancing announcement is scheduled on November 6, post the market hours and the changes will be effective from November 26.
The MSCI India Standard Index is specifically designed to measure the performance of the large and mid-cap segments of the Indian equity market. It includes 151 constituents, ensuring a comprehensive representation of the market, covering approximately 85% of the Indian equity universe.
With the aforementioned rejig, the above-mentioned stocks are expected to receive passive inflow of up to $312 million. Here is what JM Financial expects:
