CDPQ is planning to raise $300-400 million (₹2,570-3,426 crore) in the latest round of fundraising for Maple Infrastructure Trust, formerly Indian Highway Concession Trust. It has mandated Rothschild to manage the fundraising exercise, the people said.
Proceeds of the capital raise will be utilised for financing Maple Infrastructure Trust's recent acquisition of toll road assets of Ashoka Concessions, the people said.
In addition to CDPQ, other investors are also likely to partially offload their holdings in the InvIT through the fundraising programme, they added.
