NEET-UG 2024 has been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for comprehensive investigation, said Education Ministry officials on Saturday.

India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) Chairman and Managing Director Pradeep Singh Kharola has been assigned additional charge of the testing agency till appointment of a regular incumbent.
In another development, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has decided to postpone the NEET-Post Graduate exams.
The NEET-PG exams were scheduled to be held on June 23, i.e., tomorrow.

Earlir today a fresh plea was filed in the Supreme Court seeking directions to the CBI and the ED to investigate NEET-UG exam case. The petition, filed by 10 students who had appeared for the exam, had also sought a direction to Bihar Police to expedite the investigation in the case and file a report before the apex court.
