Kohler has introduced a toilet seat at this year's CES. Priced at $2,139 (approximately Rs 1,77,000), the PureWash E930 bidet toilet seat has some unexpected tech features.
This innovative seat can be attached to most toilet seats, transforming a regular toilet into a smart one that can be controlled with voice commands through Alexa or Google Assistant.
As per Kohler, the PureWash Bidet Seat provides personalized cleansing. It automatically opens and closes the cover when it detects motion, and it even has a self-cleaning mode that utilizes a built-in UV light.
By simply sitting on the toilet seat, users can utilize hands-free control through Alexa or Google Assistant.
They can turn the seat on and off, activate the air dryer, and clean the seat, all by speaking to the toilet. The water temperature and pressure can also be adjusted, and the seat offers a heating feature as well as various spray modes, ranging from gentle to full force.
For those who prefer manual control, the PureWash E930 also includes a remote control.
Additionally, the seat features LED lighting, serving as a nightlight. It incorporates Kohler's «Quiet-Close» technology, which prevents seat slamming, and a quick-release function for easy cleaning.
The bidet accessory provides front and rear wash modes, a heated seat, and the remote control offers two programmable presets.
Users can adjust the water temperature and pressure, and choose between oscillating or pulsating sprays. The bidet also includes a child mode that provides a gentle wash for younger users.
Currently, the Kohler PureWash E930 will be available for pre-order in the US at a discounted price of $1,289.
