Chennai: After fight with wife, man smashes 20 cars in a showroom
Following the complaint, the Rajamangalam police obtained CCTV footage from the area and launched an investigation. They subsequently apprehended the suspect, identified as Boobalan, 35, from Korattur. Boobalan had been undergoing treatment at a drug de-addiction center in the city's suburbs since August.
He had been released from the center just two days prior to the incident and targeted the showroom, suspecting his wife's infidelity, the report said. The Rajamangalam police registered a case against Boobalan, who was subsequently arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
Last month, a Lufthansa flight traveling from Munich to Bangkok was diverted to Delhi due to a disruptive passenger.
According to an ANI report. the cabin crew reported a dispute between a husband and wife as the cause of the disruption. However, the flight had to be diverted due to their ongoing dispute.
Initially, the flight sought permission to land at a nearby airport in Pakistan. However, for undisclosed reasons, this request was not granted. As a result, the flight safely landed at Delhi Airport, where the unruly male passenger was offloaded and handed over to airport security.
