Typhoon Doksuri swept the country bringing torrential rains and flash floods across the country. Last week Typhoon Doksuri made heavy landfall in the southeastern coastal province of Fujian where authorities evacuated millions of people. Similarly, more than thirty thousand residents were evacuated from the capital Beijing. However, there is little relief as Typhoon Khanun is approaching coastal areas of eastern China, according to reports.
Typhoon Doksuri: Four KilledState-controlled media Central China Television (CCTV) reported two deaths in the national capital on Monday. It said that other two people were killed in the northeastern province of Liaoning.
Typhoon Doksuri: More To ComeChina Meteorological Administration claimed that not less than 40 inches of rainfall are expected in the southern area of Beijing and the neighboring province of Hebei. It also said that heavy downpours may continue until Tuesday and landslide and dangerous flooding cannot be ruled out.
