Citigroup has named new leaders within its European industrials coverage team in the latest shake-up of its dealmaking team after one of its senior bankers stepped down.
Koen van Velsen, a former JPMorgan banker who joined Citigroup to lead its industrials coverage in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in 2014, is departing, according to a memo seen by Financial News. Since 2021, van Velsen has been co-global head of mobility, which includes coverage of the automotive sector.
