Close Brothers AM CIO Robert Alster said the restructuring will strengthen the firm's strategic approach to each asset class and lead to better results for clients.
Reporting to CIO Robert Alster, Giles Parkinson has been appointed head of equities, Andrew Metcalf as head of fixed income, Alec Slater as head of alternatives, Matthew Stanesby as head of collectives and Weixu Yan as head of passives.
«By appointing a number of our fund managers as heads and thought leaders of the asset classes we invest in, we are ensuring that the investments of all investment managers within the firm are more closely aligned with our research capability,» said Alster.
«This will also strengthen our strategic approach to each asset class, and lead to better results for our clients.»
