Coal India on Friday reported a 12.5% year-on-year (YoY) rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2023 to Rs 6,800 crore, which was way above an ETNow poll of Rs 5,990 crore.
Consolidated revenue from operations rose nearly 10% on year to Rs 32,776.41 crore and was also above the estimated Rs 31,838 crore.
The board has recommended an interim dividend of Rs 15.25 a share for the current financial year.
