Colombia, USA, Germany to be partner countries for Hornbill music festival

The festival continues till December 10. Rio stated in X, “I am happy to announce that Colombia is the Country Partner of the Hornbill Music Festival 2023.

The chief minister stated, “Delighted to announce that the United States of America is Country Partner of the #HornbillFestival2023. Come and be a part of the #FestivalOfFestivals — the #HornbillFestival.

Rio added, “I am happy to announce that Germany is the Country Partner of the Hornbill Festival 2023. Looking forward to welcoming everyone to the #LandOfFestivals during the #FestivalOfFestivals — the #HornbillFestival2023.”
The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) has decided to participate in the event.
The decision was made during ENPO’s emergency Central Executive Council meeting recently at Tsithrongse village Chümoukedima, where a nine-member Eastern Nagaland Legislators’ Union (ENLU) delegation was also present.
It will allow cultural teams to take part in the forthcoming Hornbill Festival. ENPO the apex tribal organisation of eastern Nagaland had boycotted the Hornbill festival last year.
Seven tribes of Eastern Nagaland, Chang, Khiamniungan, Konyak, Phom, Tikhir, Sangtam and Yimkhiung are spread across six districts.
