Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio said that Colombia, United States of America, and Germany will be the partner countries for Hornbill music festival which will start from December 1.
The festival continues till December 10. Rio stated in X, “I am happy to announce that Colombia is the Country Partner of the Hornbill Music Festival 2023.

The chief minister stated, “Delighted to announce that the United States of America is Country Partner of the #HornbillFestival2023. Come and be a part of the #FestivalOfFestivals — the #HornbillFestival.

The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) has decided to participate in the event.
The decision was made during ENPO’s emergency Central Executive Council meeting recently at Tsithrongse village Chümoukedima, where a nine-member Eastern Nagaland Legislators’ Union (ENLU) delegation was also present.
It will allow cultural teams to take part in the forthcoming Hornbill Festival. ENPO the apex tribal organisation of eastern Nagaland had boycotted the Hornbill festival last year.
Seven tribes of Eastern Nagaland, Chang, Khiamniungan, Konyak, Phom, Tikhir, Sangtam and Yimkhiung are spread across six districts.
