Commercial LPG cylinders price reduced by Rs 41 from today
LPG prices are revised regularly, influenced by fluctuations in global crude oil rates and other economic factors. While commercial LPG rates have seen frequent adjustments, domestic LPG prices—used for household cooking—remain unchanged in this revision, providing stability for residential consumers.
Recent LPG Price Fluctuations
Just last month, on March 1, 2025, OMCs had increased commercial LPG cylinder prices by Rs 6 across major cities. «According to Indane, a subsidiary of Indian Oil Corporation, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has increased from Rs 1,797 to Rs 1,803,» stated the company. This hike followed a Rs 7 reduction in February, reflecting ongoing volatility in the market. The latest price drop is part of a broader pattern of volatility in fuel pricing, which reflects changes in the international energy market.
Larger Trends in LPG Pricing
Businesses have faced unpredictable costs over the past few years. In March 2023, commercial LPG prices saw a sharp jump of Rs 352, affecting operating expenses for restaurants and other establishments. Despite these fluctuations, domestic LPG cylinder prices have remained unchanged for several months, offering stability to households.
