Seat sharing got a green light in the INDIA bloc after days of discussions as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Indian National Congress (INC) have arrived on consensus for Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Chandigarh, Pubnjab and Haryana.
Earlier on Friday, ET had reported that the three-state pact between the two INDIA bloc parties is the understanding in Delhi where the AAP is likely to contest four seats and Congress three.
Congress general secretary and MP Mukul Wasnik on Saturday confirmed the same and announced the parties' decision and said that the Arvind Kejriwal-led party will contest from four seats in Delhi namely New Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi and East Delhi.

Meanwhile, the Congress will fight form three seats- Chandni Chowk, North East and North West.
A senior leader, who did not wish to be identified, had told ET that Congress demanded one seat in West, either North West or West Delhi and contest only one of the two trans-Yamuna seats, as having both of these may not augur well for Congress with the BJP having a massive Purvanchali vote bank in the area.
As for Punjab, both parties have decided to battle it out on their own, and cleared that no alliance has been formed for the current AAP-ruled state.
Haryana, which has 10 seats, the Congress is set to contest from 9 of these, while AAP will contest only from Kurukshetra.
