Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday was named as the chairperson of the Opposition-led INDIA bloc, reported The Indian Express, citing sources.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who was appointed as the convener of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), if all parties of the bloc agree.
The decision was made during a virtual meeting of the heads of the 14 Opposition parties that was held on Saturday.
