Credit Suisse chair Sir António Horta-Osório has resigned from the Swiss bank after just eight months following a probe into his breaches of Covid-19 rules.
People familiar with matter said the investigation centred on the former Lloyds Banking Group chief executive's travel and personal conduct, TheWall Street Journal reported on 17 January. The bank has named Axel P Lehmann, who joined Credit Suisse as chair of the risk committee from UBS in October, will replace him.
