cryptocurrency markets were majorly trading lower in Monday's trade. Bitcoin (BTC) fell 0.20% to $25,808, whereas Ethereum (ETH) was below the 1,650 level.
«The overall crypto market experienced losses, and Bitcoin briefly dipped below $26,000. Meanwhile, Bitcoin is on the verge of a „death cross,“ where its short-term 50-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) is about to dip below its long-term 200-day SMA, said CoinDCX Research Team.
Other top crypto tokens were also trading lower. XRP, Dogecoin, Polkadot and Solana declined over 1%.
The global cryptocurrency market cap was trading lower, around $1.04 trillion, falling 0.32% in the last 24 hours.

The market cap of Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency, was around $503 billion. Bitcoin's dominance is currently 48.65%, according to CoinMarketCap. Meanwhile, BTC volume stood at approximately $8.41 billion, rising 45.94% in the last 24 hours.
