Cummins India shares gain 0.92% as Sensex rises
Cummins India Ltd. traded at Rs 3529.9 on BSE at 01:04PM (IST) on Tuesday, up 0.92 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1590.3 and a high of Rs 4169.5.
Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.
At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 56.6 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 62.02 per share and 12.61 times its book value, as per BSE data.
A total of 81,536 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:04PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 97297.2 crore and is part of the Engines industry.
The scrip has been an outperformer, up 96.69 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 18.7 per cent gain in Sensex.
During the day, the stock moved between Rs 3593.8 and Rs 3501.75.
Promoter/FII Holding Promoters held 0.0 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2024. FII and MF ownership in Cummins India Ltd. stood at 17.95 per cent and 17.82 per cent, respectively.
