Congress Working Committee (CWC) members on Saturday passed a resolution that Rahul Gandhi should be appointed as the leader of the party in Lok Sabha, according to ANI sources.

At the meeting, several Congress leaders urged the Congress MP to take up the post of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, as per PTI sources.

Kharge, who convened the meeting, will also host a dinner for all extended CWC members and party MPs at Hotel Ashok in Delhi.
