It’s a little after 9am CET. I’ve got my puffer coat on, woolly hat and gloves and appropriate footwear and am ready to brave the frosty trek – 15 minutes according to Google Maps – to Kurgartenstrasse, the main stretch for the World Economic Forum.
There were concerns this year’s event would feature more sun than snow, thanks to climate change, but the weather seems to be cooperating. The snow did fall on Sunday night, 15 January, creating an idyllic wintery backdrop on Monday.
