OMG 2' is set for a big Bollywood clash with actor Sunny Deol's action film 'Gadar 2'. To make the most of the extended Independence Day weekend, the makers opened the advance booking for the upcoming movies nearly two weeks before their release on August 11. Both movies have received an overwhelming response as far as the advance booking numbers are concerned with just a week left for the premiere.
The box-office commercial tracking portal Sacnilk Entertainment revealed the numbers. The Deol-starrer sold around 56,000 tickets, amounting to Rs 1.47 crore for the opening day, leaving the Day 1 collection of 'OMG 2' far behind at Rs 25 lakh for just 7,300 tickets. https://twitter.com/SacnilkEntmt/status/1687126286609874944 When the movie opened for advance booking, the tracker had reported that the Day 1 collection for 'Gadar 2' was Rs 10 lakh after 4,500 tickets were sold.
