Daylight saving 2024 in the USA is ending soon. The fall season is all set to start on this weekend, the autumnal equinox will take place on Sunday. The clock will set back for an hour.
Although the fall will start officially in this weekend along with the autumnal equinox on Sunday, however, the transition to standard time will not happen immediately. Fall will begin at 7:44 A.M. CT on September 22, 2024 and it will also mark the start of the autumn with autumnal equinox. It is an astronomical event which occurs on September in the northern hemisphere and on March in the southern hemisphere, as per the Almanac of the Farmer. Illinois and several states across the U.S. are experiencing daylight saving time currently, which has started in Spring. It will end soon because clocks fall back for an additional time of sleeping, as per the 5CHICAGO.

The federal government has set a rule that every year, clocks should be set back one hour on the first Sunday of November. In 2024, that will be done in November 3. Daylight saving time includes adjusting the clock which starts in Spring and ends in fall. The Energy Policy Act of 2005, states that daylight saving time starts in March on second Sunday and gets concluded in November on first Sunday.
