Vivek Bindra is under scrutiny as allegations of domestic violence emerge just days after his wedding to Yanika on December 6, 2023.
According to TOI, an FIR has been registered against Bindra, the CEO of Bada Business Pvt Ltd, following accusations of assaulting his wife.
The alleged incident unfolded on December 7, a day after the couple's wedding, when Bindra engaged in a heated argument with his mother, Prabha, as per police. Yanika intervened, resulting in Bindra allegedly physically assaulting her, reported TOI.
The complaint, filed by Yanika's brother Vaibhav Kwatra, alleges that Bindra locked Yanika in a room, verbally and physically abused her, leaving her with severe injuries and a ruptured eardrum. Yanika is currently receiving medical treatment at Delhi's Kailash Deepak Hospital.
A case has been registered against Bindra under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees), and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace). The Noida Police is conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
Bindra, known for his substantial online following and leadership development content, is also facing allegations related to a business course through his company.
High-profile Indian motivational speaker Sandeep Maheshwari exposed the alleged scam, presenting testimonials from students in a video titled «Big Scam Expose.» Bindra, however, has vehemently denied all accusations. This dispute with Sandeep Maheshwari over the alleged scam has further intensified the public discourse.
