The two women were dancing inside the lady's coach in the 'Main Toh Beghar Hoon' song from the film Suhaag. However, the internet seemed divided on this viral video.
One user wrote, "#DelhiMetro should increase its fares. And should create more seating classes like balcony, premium, standard, etc. It is an entertainment zone now.
Its new offering is Pole Dance". Another user wrote, "Why I love Delhi metro.....early morning pole dance". "Delhi metro needs serious check-up if true, it seems like a new location for reel makers," a user wrote.
The pole dance video on Delhi Metro was shared by @HasnaZarooriHai on Thursday and has accumulated more than 303,000 views. This week, a video of kanwariyas dancing on the Delhi Metro also surfaced on the internet. Several videos made inside the Delhi Metro or its premises that turned up on social media in the last several months have led to controversies and attracted authorities' attention.
In the short clip, kanwariyas, all clad in traditional saffron dress, can be seen dancing to the tunes of a song dedicated to Lord Shiva. "We request our commuters to maintain discipline and decorum while travelling by the Metro," the DMRC said in a statement on Wednesday on the latest video that garnered considerable traction on social media sites. "All passengers must ensure that their behaviour doesn't cause any inconvenience to fellow commuters.
