Queen Camilla takes on domestic duty, breaking royal tradition. Tom Parker Bowles, the son of Queen Camilla, is providing a charming glimpse behind Buckingham Palace's gilded gates.
The author of the cookbook believes that his mother has a very special place in the annals of royal history because of her culinary skills. According to Parker Bowles, who spoke to Discover Britain, he thinks his mother was the first queen to prepare food, as quoted in a report by In Style.
He went on to say that Camilla cooks less now but has cooked for two children for 20 years and is very good.
Unlike other royals like Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, who were not required to learn how to cook, Camilla was raised as a commoner before becoming the Queen of England.
