Trump Jr.'s father is still raising the prospect of the United States acquiring and occupying Greenland, a Danish-run autonomous territory, at the time of his trip. Earlier in his first term, Trump had also raised the prospect.
The president-elect announced a deal that he says must happen without providing any details while commemorating his son's and his advisors' visit to Greenland.
His representatives and Don Jr. are arriving in Greenland. Greenland requires safety, security, strength, and peace, as does the free world! Trump posted on social media Tuesday morning, saying, «This is a deal that must happen. MAGA. RESTORE GREATNESS TO GREENLAND.”
