Did you know? Aamir Khan was once rejected by Kiran Rao... for being Aamir Khan!
Aamir Khan has frequently spoken about how his former wife, filmmaker Kiran Rao, turned him down for a role in his own production, Laapataa Ladies. The actor had even auditioned for the part of Sub-Inspector Shyam Manohar, but Kiran ultimately decided that Ravi Kishan was a better fit.
