The sea-facing triplex apartment has been purchased by a company named Apco Infratech Private Limited, according to the property registration documents provided by Zapkey.com.
The triplex apartment occupies the 9th, 10th, and 11th floors of the building, offering a spacious carpet area of 9,527 square feet. It was purchased at an impressive rate of Rs 1.62 lakh per square foot. In addition to the purchase price, the stamp duty amounted to Rs 9.3 crore, and the registration fee was Rs 30,000.
In 2023, it was announced that the Ashar Group from Thane embarked on a major renovation project for a bungalow that will be transformed into a luxurious 10-11 story residential building, alongside a museum honoring Dilip Kumar, who died in July 2021.
Kumar had originally purchased the bungalow from Abdul Latif in September 1953. However, after his marriage to Saira Banu in 1966, Kumar moved out of the bungalow to live with his wife.
The redevelopment project, titled ‘The Legend,’ will feature upscale 4 and 5 BHK apartments. Additionally, the project will include a 2,000-square-foot museum dedicated to the late superstar.
