DMart Q1FY24 results: Avenue Supermarts, which operates the retail chain DMart, on July 15 reported a consolidated net profit of ₹658.71 crore for the first quarter of the financial year 2023-24 , up 2 percent from ₹642.89 crore in the year-ago period. The company’s net profit rose 43 percent from ₹460.10 crore in the previous quarter.
The company reported an 18.2 percent YoY (year-on-year) rise in consolidated revenue from operations at ₹11,865.44 crore against ₹10,038.07crore year ago. The revenue rose 12 percent from ₹10,594.11 crore in the previous quarter.
Ace investor Radhakishan Damani-backed Avenue Supermarts share price ended at ₹3,840 per share levels on NSE after the end of Friday session last week. In January to March 2023 quarter for the financial year 2022-23, Avenue Supermarts had reported that its revenue from operations for the quarter ended March 2023, stood at ₹10,337 crore, logging 20 per cent jump from ₹8,606.09 crore revenue from operations reported in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
