According to The Street's latest report, following the death of a 35-year-old Bank of America employee, reportedly after working 100-hour workweeks, allegations began being levelled at the organization for not catering to the physical and mental health of its employees. Now, Bank of America and Chase Bank have risen to the occasion and has begun to take steps to cut down working hours for its employees and making some other major changes.

Now, latest reports suggest that Bank of America and Chase Bank will be putting a cap on working hours of its employees. But there would be a few exceptions on certain situations.
However, the banks have also stated that the bankers would need to put in extra hours in case they are working on a live deal. Moreover, a timekeeping tool will also be available to employees, which will be moderated by administrators in order to keep a track on how many hours employees are actually putting in, so that they are not overworked.
