US President Donald Trump has reportedly expressed a strong desire to negotiate with Ukraine for access to its rare earth minerals as a condition for continuing US military and economic support in the ongoing severe and long tern conflict against Russia, reported Associated Press.

According to Associated Press, during a recently press briefing in the Oval Office, US President Donald Trump severely criticized the US for providing more assistance to Ukraine than other significant European allies and then indicated that he has received signals from the Ukrainian government about their willingness to make a deal as well.

He also noted that the discussions with the US President Donald Trump administration are ongoing but still remains at a general level with major hopes for more detailed agreements in the near future.
