Investing.com — U.S stock futures were steady during Monday's evening trades, after major benchmark averages snapped 4 sessions of consecutive losses.
By 6:50pm ET (10:50pm GMT) Dow Jones Futures were little changed while S&P 500 Futures and Nasdaq 100 Futures ticked 0.1% higher.
Ahead in Tuesday's trade, market participants will be monitoring building permits, CB consumer confidence, new home sales, housing price index data as well as a speech from FOMC member Bowman.
Among earnings, companies including Costco Wholesale Corp (NASDAQ:COST), Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ:CTAS), Ferguson Plc (LON:FERG) and Synnex Corporation (NYSE:SNX) are scheduled to report.
During Monday's regular session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 43 points or 0.1% to 43,006.9, the S&P 500 gained 17.4 points or 0.4% to 4,337.5 and the NASDAQ Composite added 59.5 points or 0.5% to 13,271.3.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates extended 16-year highs of 4.531%.
