BambuBlack founder Jane Andrews
Subject to Financial Conduct Authority approval, managers Jane Andrews and Linda Wang Saitowitz will join Dowgate on 1 November, while analyst James Measures will not be joining the firm.
The duo will bring across their Asia ex-Japan and Asia Income & Growth funds, bolstering Dowgate Wealth's offering.
Andrews brings more than 30 years' experience to the firm, having held roles at Smith & Williamson, Cim Group and John Govett London, before founding BambuBlack in 2019.

Wang Saitowitz brings more than 15 years' experience to the firm, including roles at Deutsche Bank and HSBC Global Asset Management. She joined BambuBlack as a senior equity analyst in 2019, before becoming portfolio manager in 2021.
The funds' philosophies and processes will remain the same but will benefit from the additional resource of the broader Dowgate team.
Dowgate head of funds Laurence Hulse said: «Jane and Linda's appetite for smaller companies neatly adds to the Dowgate approach, while the addition of the two Asia-focused funds allows us to broaden our investment offering to existing Dowgate clients.
»This is an exciting growth milestone for Dowgate and the result of a strategic decision to expand our fund management services for clients. We continue to pursue future expansion opportunities as we prepare clients for an eventual equity market recovery."
Andrews added: «We are excited to form a new partnership with Dowgate and look forward to taking the business to a new level, with the support of its experienced team.»
