In the auction, according to Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority, Plate (AA 70) was the most expensive at AED3.82 million, followed by Plate (X 7777) for AED3.80 million, Plate (Z 43) for AED2.85 million. The number plate (Y 96) and Plate (S 888) were sold for AED2.66 million and sold for AED2.3 million respectively.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority put up 90 fancy plates at this auction comprising of two, three, four and five-digits bearing (AA-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V-W-X-Y-Z) codes.

According to Emirates News Agency, in the 112th Open Auction for premium vehicle plates in March this year, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) had raised AED38.21 million.
Plate (AA15) was sold for AED 5,220,000 followed by (AA20) exchanged for AED 3,780,000. The plate (R76) was auctioned for AED1,880,000, (Y55555) brought back AED1,700,000, while (X6666) fetched AED1,320,000.
RTA offered 90 fancy plates for bidding in this 112th Open Auction comprising two, three, four and five digits of categories: (AA-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V-W-X-Y-Z).
